Readers' Workshop
We use the Fountas and Pinnell Literacy program. We also follow a "workshop" model for our ELA time.
Readers' Workshop
Students will be participating in readers' workshop. For readers' workshop the children will work on monthly strategy units that will enable them to better read and comprehend grade level books.
Focus Lesson
Each day readers' workshop will begin with a 10 to 15 minute focus lesson. During the lesson the teacher is modeling for the students how to use a new strategy.
